Delivery timescales

Please allow up to 7 working days for UK delivery. Your order will normally be dispatched within 2 working days of receipt and depending on the type of merchandise will be sent either by Royal Mail or Peppertrees nominated carrier.

Receipt of merchandise

Please ensure that there will be someone at your chosen shipping address to receive your delivery. Otherwise it may be left at the nearest depot and you will have to rearrange delivery with the carrier.. When goods have been sent by Royal Mail post they may end up at the nearest sorting office for you to collect.

Payment of merchandise

We collect your online payment via a debit or credit card which is subject to authorisation by your issuing card holder. If authorisation is not granted we cannot be held liable for non or late delivery of goods. You should be notified by ourselves if you order was unsuccessful.

For your own convenience we have given you the option of stating a different shipping address when you place an order. We will still require details of the address to which the card is registered in order to obtain authorisation from your card issuer.

Payment by cheque

If you would prefer to pay by cheque you can do this by placing your order over the telephone on 01858 496342.  Please allow 21 days for cheque clearance and delivery.

Product representation

Whilst every effort is made to give you a most accurate visual and written description of merchandise we cannot accept responsibility for colour variation. Colour accuracy may be different due to your own particular monitor.

Product availability

Our website is updated on a daily basis and it is our intention to only show you merchandise which is available for immediate dispatch. However, from time to time we may have sold out of an item before we have updated the site.

If we are unable to fulfill your order we will contact you within 3 working days of receipt and establish whether you are happy to receive a part order (if applicable) or, to give you an indication of when we anticipate an item being back in stock. At this point you have the option of cancelling your order and being refunded in full for the goods in question and any related postage costs.

In the case of part deliveries, you will also be notified, only one gift with purchase (where applicable) will be sent. You will only be charged for postage and packaging costs once.

Free gift with purchase

From time to time we will promote a free gift with  every order. Only one gift will be shipped with an order. We reserve the right to change the gift without notice and to replace it with something of an equivalent value.

Unwanted goods

We hope you will be delighted with your purchases but in the unlikely event that you are not we will refund the purchase price provided that you comply with the following guidelines.

The goods and the accompanying free gift (where applicable) must be returned within 21 days of receipt and in the same condition as they were received. Please also include your name and dispatch note reference number with the goods so that we can trace your order quickly.

We strongly recommend that you obtain a certificate of posting from the post office in case your goods are lost in transit.

We do not refund postage charges on either the outward or return journey for unwanted goods. If merchandise is not returned in the same condition as it was dispatched from Peppertrees a 20% handling charge will be deducted in order for us to clear the goods at a discounted price in our retail outlets.

Please note that for reasons of hygiene we do not accept pierced earrings back for exchange or refund.

Damaged or faulty goods on arrival

If your goods have arrived damaged or faulty please telephone us  on 01858 469342 or send us an email at enquiries@peppertrees.co.uk . If you live locally to either of our shops you can also return the goods personally. Our telephones lines are open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30 pm.

We will establish whether you would like an exchange or a refund and issue you with an authorisation number enabling you to return the goods to us.

If we are unable to provide you with an immediate exchange a refund will be issued. The value of the items and associated postage costs will be refunded back to the original card which was used to pay for the goods. This will happen within two days of the goods being returned. Please be aware that it may take an additional 3 – 5 days to reach your account depending on your card provider.

Special orders of merchandise no longer on the website

Due to the nature of our business and to keep our customers inspired we change our stock on a seasonal basis. We are unable to place special orders for individual items once they have been deleted from our website.

Ordering something you have seen in our shop which is not on our website
